Pay

• Laborer position: CA$20.00 – CA$23.00 per hour

• Supervisor position: Up to CA$30.00 per hour depending on experience

Experience is a plus.

• understand and uphold the landscaping design prepared for the specific job

• maintain effective communication skills (both verbal and written) with the owner and operator at all times

• understand the importance of team work and following instructions

• display problem solving abilities

• act responsibly and respectful toward customers at all times

• be mindful of good ethics and maintaining integrity toward the company's reputation

• valid driver license, able to operate or willing to learn to operate maintenance and light excavation equipment, including lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers; skid steer, mini excavator and concrete saws

• high attention to detail with excellent organizational skills

• good stamina and physical health to work outdoors for extended periods

• willingness to perform gardening and basic lawn maintenance

• maintain and use company equipment in a responsible manner

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Construction skills expected (depending on position):

• able to follow instructions and pay attention to detail

• perform patio, stonework, wall building, Armour stone and patio block work installation, as well as fire pits and walkways

• ability to operate a stone cutting saw, skid steer and or mini-excavator is a plus

Gardening consists of but not limited to:

 

• removing weeds and dead plants

• trimming overgrown limbs, hedges and leaves

• planting new decorative bushes, flowers, plants and shrubs

• advising clients on how to maintain the landscape after the job is complete
